When I learned coaching football in California, with Coach Herb Meyer, at El Camino High School, Oceanside, I learned that if you are not organized you will not be successful. Herb Meyer was inducted in the National High School Hall Of Fame in 1994, he won 10 C.I.F. championship, I really thanks him for the great experience I had and continue to have with him and other good coaches.

I coach the SERVALS of Clermont-Fd, we play in the 2nd division, in a great league (south 3) with the Falcons of Bron, Giants of St Etienne and Centaures of Grenoble.

I am single to coach but grateful to have great players to help me in individual periods, Thomas Chakarian DL, Renaud Guerrin DB, Olivier Desvilles WR, Amine Menadi RB, these guys do an outstanding job.

Practice organization is a must, in most French teams we have only 2 practices a week with not a lot of time, so if you don’t organize that time, you will not have good practices.

Here is a sample of our practice sheet, backward we list the present/absent players.

As you can see, we never practice without : TACKLING, BLOCKING, working on FUNDAMENTALS. These are the 3 essentials things in football.

To finish I want to say that this site is an extremely great idea, EAFCA is the best thing we could do to improve football in Europe. Thanks to Giorgio Volpi.
